The Simpsons’ voice cast lands bigger contracts

‘The Simpsons’ voice actors have reached a whooper deal this year with the 20th Century Fox. According to reports, the lead cast members will take home $400,000 per episode, which means $100,000 more from last year. In the new four-year agreement Dan Castellaneta, who lends his voice to Homer and has also written many episodes of the series, will land the role of a consulting producer as well. Top actors, including Julie Kavner (Marge), Nancy Cartwright (Bart), Yeardley Smith (Lisa) and Hank Azaria (Moe), have already started working on the forthcoming 20th season.

Meanwhile, Mr Burns and Ned Flanders’ actor’s deal remains unclear. But considering that he voices two characters, a double-paid will be more than fair! I wish I had been born with Marge’s voice, so in this moment  I would be chilling out in some exclusive island on the Caribbean or in the French Riviera, better!
