One Tree Hill actress moves to Law & Order: SVU

Michaela McManus has left her recurring role on CW’s “One Tree Hill” to join the crime series “Law & Order: SVU” as the new assistant district attorney for the Special Victims Unit.  According to the TV Guide, she is replacing Diane Neal, who was reportedly suspended from the show in last month’s season finale.  “Law & Order: SVU” returns to the screen for its 10th season in the fall. In One Tree Hill McManus played the role of Lindsey Strauss, Chad Michael Murray’s literary editor. She also worked in the independent film “Cosa Bella” and a short titled  “The Beautiful Lie.”

Michaela is to leave the smallest Tree Hill to find criminals in none other that the longest-running primetime legal drama currently on American TV. So girl, now you have the chance to jump straight to stardom.
