CW’s country newbie rocks

CW’s new show ‘Farmer wants a Wife’ has been well received among viewers. The country-life series has reached an audience of 2.2 million, according to Nielsen Media Research; which is not that far from the posh lifestyle of Gossip Girl and its 2.6 million viewers. The format of “Farmer” has been successfully proved in other countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and Finland. TV show executive producer Cara Tapper commented about the leading star Missouri farmer Matt Neustadt, “Neustadt is a “good-looking, smart guy. … He wanted to make sure people saw farmers aren’t a bunch of hicks, that there’s sophistication there.”  “It is a sexy show, but in a really clean way”. Meanwhile, ‘Farmer’ continues with five more episode till the big finale scheduled for June 25.
