American Idol bosses ban David Archuleta’s tough dad
David Archuleta has reached a well-deserved place in the American Idol final. But recently, a wave of rumors claimed that David’s father Jeff Archuleta had a negative influence on him, not only taking nearly all the decisions regarding the song’s choices but also criticizing the other contestants. The worst thing for the American Idol team happened when Jeff Archuleta forced his son to change the lyrics of “Stand By Me” to add lyrics of Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls.” Despite the fact Jeff dismissed the spread stories that considered him as stage dad; the show has banned him from being in the vocal trainings or in touch with the other singers.
The thing is that gifted David is used to follow his dad. Do you think he will make without his dictatorial advices? Well, we’ll have to wait till tonight when he performs his three songs along with the other two finalists David Cook and Syesha Mercado.
