Airbrushed Jessica graces Vanity Fair
In clear bid to boost her tough year, Vanity Fair chose Jessica Simpson for its June edition. A text above the wannabe country singer reads “You call this fat?” And the answer is absofuckinlutely no. Not one with good vision could dare to call her cow, but we’re talking about a picture, not Jessica. A photo which is noticeable airbrushed, but which ones aren’t these days? I mean we should give her a chance. On the mag Jessica dishes on her ex-husband Nick and her relationship with the press among other things. On her newlywed former love: “I have not spoken to him in years.” On the media critics, “It comes with what I do and I know that every day the media’s going to challenge me, is going to want to bring me down. But I feel like I’m at such a place that I own myself, and it’s authentic. I own that authentic part of myself, and none of those words are harsh enough to make me believe.”
Her photos must have been retouched, but it’s a nice photo shoot in the end. Let’s give her some credit, maybe she’ll really start dieting!
