Actor Heath Ledger’s body was found in an apartment on Broome Street in Manhattan. Police say that at approximately 3:30 pm., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building where Heath’s body was found, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger.The masseuse was let in by a housekeeper, who knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When Heath failed to answer, the two entered the bedroom where they found Ledger unconscious and called authorities. Police don’t expect foul play however bottles of sleeping pills were found at the scene, so there will be an investigation and an autopsy. Heath battled substance abuse throughout his career but is said to have been working hard on staying clean. Heath leaves behind a 2 year old daughter, Matilda, with ex-fiancée, actress Michelle Williams.
