Amy Winehouse And Kanye West Win Big At The Grammy’s
Grammy night belonged to British songstress, Amy Winehouse, as she snatched up five awards. Amy won awards for: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. The Rehab starlet, who is currently receiving treatment for her substance abuse, took a little break to perform via-satellite. Amy looked and sounded great as she performed You Know I’m No Good and Rehab. It looks like rehab is working for her; hopefully it will stick.
Kanye West was another big winner at last night’s Grammy Awards capturing four awards. Kanye won for: Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo performance, Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Rap Song. Kanye performed his hits Stronger and Hey Mama as a tribute to his mother Donda West who died following cosmetic surgery in late 2007. Kanye has added a new dimension to Rap music; hopefully his success will continue.
